About Me

I'm Jason! I'm a software engineer in Denver, CO who works remotely for RevOps. I'm originally from Greater Boston and graduated from the University of Massachusetts Lowell in December 2020 as a computer science major with minors in math and business.

My primary expertise is in full-stack engineering but I always enjoy learning something new. In working for a startup, I've learned how to push my knowledge boundaries and learn new languages, libraries, APIs, and other brand new concepts. I've worked full-stack top to bottom from implementing components in a design system, building complex frontend applications, developing APIs and user authentication systems, asynchronous processing queues, and managing deployment infrastructure and CI/CD configurations.

After work and on weekends you'll often find me out in the mountains. In the winter you can find me skiing, snowshowing, and even backpacking and in the summer I'll be hiking, biking, and camping. My love for the mountains originates from my time in the Boy Scouts, where I ultimately earned the rank of Eagle Scout. When I'm not in the mountains, I enjoy cooking and baking and spending time with friends and family.

With my love for the outdoors, comes a love for preserving the outdoors. The 7 Leave No Trace Principles are an easy framework to follow while exploring.

  1. Plan Ahead & Prepare.
  2. Travel & Camp on Durable Surfaces.
  3. Dispose of Waste Properly.
  4. Leave What You Find.
  5. Minimize Campfire Impacts.
  6. Respect Wildlife.
  7. Be Considerate of Others.
